Judging by the fannish outpourings, I *think* I'm the last person alive to see Thor, but just in case Oort cloud dwellers should chance across this journal, then here is my reaction. Also behind the cut, because I think it was universally loved, and I, well - thought it was a bit shit!
I don't know if my cup just runneth over with superhero films. I wouldn't have believed it possible, because realism is never a criterion for film enjoyment for me, but I'm tired of the macguffins and the dei ex machina and most of all, the factory they all seem to come from.
Also, Natalie Portman. I feel like the little boy in the emperor's new clothes. Or Will Ferrell in Zoolander. Am I the only person who doesn't think that she is an acting colossos and beauty, but in fact that she can't act and has a funny face??
LOL. Just read what I typed, and I'm thinking this sounds most un-Pionie and harsh! Maybe a person can't watch Sherlock S2 without being spoilt for more average fare :D
