Last night at London bridge, I saw a stream of women in wheelchairs, wearing the Team China uniform. Everyone stopped rushing about for a minute to watch them pass, and I admit I was a little giddy having the chance to see them. These women who have travelled so far to show the world that they excel at something they love.

A little boy nearby said, "Wow, ATHLETES!" When children see their achievements instead of their chairs, then you know the games have made a difference.
